Effect of Interaction Between Nitric Oxide and Hydrogen Sulfide on the Contractility of Tracheal Smooth Muscles Isolated from Male Albino Rats

To investigate the molecular mechanism of relaxation in rats isolated tracheal smooth muscle (TSM). Nitric oxide (NO) and hydrogen sulfide (H2S) have been selected as important signaling molecules in the regulation of the functions of smooth muscle. The present study was conducted to find out the possible role of calcium (Ca+2) and potassium (K+) channels as well as the effect of interaction between potassium K+channels blockers on the relaxation induced by NO and H2Sin isolated trachea of male albino rats.
